AEHI Thankful For Payette Hearing Support For New Idaho Nuclear Plant Site

We have much to be thankful this year at AEHI including significant progress at our nuclear sites in Idaho and Colorado; the start of construction on our first  Energy Neutral house; our new office in Beijing and related new MOUs; and a new project office in Seoul working with the Koreans to import their advanced reactor to the U.S.

 - By Linton Levy -

Alternate Energy Holdings, Inc. (AEHI): Supportive speakers outnumbered opponents 2 to 1 overall at AEHI's Comprehensive Plan amendment application hearing in Payette County, Idaho for the development of a nuclear power plant November 19th. The ratio was closer to 3 to 1 in favor after discounting the usual anti-nuclear groups from around the state who have no vested interest in the county. Supporters included mayors, mayor-elects and city council members of county towns as well as some of the larger business owners in the area.

Don Gillispie, AEHI Chairman and CEO, said, " We have much to be thankful this year at AEHI including significant progress at our nuclear sites in Idaho and Colorado; the start of construction on our first  Energy Neutral house; our new office in Beijing and related new MOUs; and a new project office in Seoul working with the Koreans to import their advanced reactor to the US.

"Many large investors and financial organizations have been watching our progress and have clearly indicated local nuclear site approval will be key to their participation," said Gillispie.

Happy Thanksgiving to our supporters and investors from AEHI. We feel truly blessed.
