French Nuclear Power Industry Acknowledges ENEC's Decision

United Arab Emirates' civil nuclear program: French industry acknowledges ENEC's decision

EDF, GDF-SUEZ, TOTAL, AREVA, VINCI and ALSTOM acknowledge ENEC's (Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation) decision about the first phase of the Emirates civil nuclear energy program.

The companies in the French proposal remain convinced of the quality of their offer and the advanced safety features of the EPR.

The companies express their satisfaction concerning the exchanges held with the Emiratis during the tendering phase and remain open to future discussions and cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, they reaffirm their confidence in their Emirati partners with whom many of the companies have started considerable projects in recent years.
