Construction Manager Fossil - Local Candidates Phoenix, AZ 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree and three (3) years heavy industrial experience (i.e., Coal/Gas Generation, Petro-Chemical, Paper, Mining, Steel, etc.), Associates degree and five (5) years’ experience as described above or high school diploma. Power Generation experience is preferred. Experience in interpreting, evaluating and working with task, milestone and logic driven project schedules, generated in PRIMAVERA or other scheduling software. Ability to develop, use, and understand various project control techniques such as earned value, resource loading, document control, cost reporting and forecasting, and critical path scheduling. Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including specifications and drawings.

Job Summary:  Plan, coordinate, control, and monitor the execution of construction projects.

Plant vendor supervisor, and construction manager for multiple, simultaneous capital projects at a Plant. Typical project vendors and contractors include engineering service providers, construction contractors including the site maintenance and modification contractor, engineered equipment commissioning engineers, QA/QC specialists, and safety specialists.
