As a Lead Protection Engineer you will perform a wide range of duties including complex protection system design, coordination studies, fault studies, disturbance investigations, protection reviews, and participate in large scale engineering projects for substations.   You will provide input into protection policy that ensures safe and effective systems operations.  You will test and challenge existing procedures and highlight areas for improvement.  You will develop effective working relationships with all stakeholders and support colleagues in developing a variety of technical solutions to challenging problems that will benefit the company.  

The qualified candidate MUST have:
* Four (4) plus years of electrical engineering experience with electrical protection systems for Substations and/or Transmission and/or Distribution.
* Proficient with common industry data and fault analysis software like ASPEN, CAPE and Symmetrical Components methodology and electrical design codes. 
* BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. 
* Advanced degree desired.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.  
* Strong professional references.
* Immediate availability.
