Across the developing world, cancer is on the rise. Once thought of as a “rich world” disease, cancer is a looming public health catastrophe across low- and middle-income countries.

The International Atomic Energy Agency can confirm that on 10 June 2010 it received a letter from Iran objecting to the designation of two IAEA safeguards inspectors.

IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano informed the Board of Governors that he had received letters from the Governments of France, the Russian Federation and the United States concerning the provision of nuclear fuel for the Tehran Research Reactor.

Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, will conduct a briefing for journalists at 14:30 CET on Monday, 7 June 2010, in the Press Room of the M-Building, in the Vienna International Centre (VIC).
