Pennsylvania-headquartered specialty packaging and transportation company MHF Services has acquired Tennessee-based Bull Run Metal Fabricators and Engineers for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Clinton, Tenn., Bull Run makes containers for low- and intermediate-level waste that meet U.S. Department of Transportation and International Atomic Energy Agency standards. The deal, announced last week, will move MHF Services' employees in Oak Ridge, Tenn., to Bull Run's new manufacturing facility. The deal also grants MHF the exclusive right to manufacture TRU-Shield lead-lined containers in the U.S.

Owned by Relativity Capital, MHF provides packaging and logistics to customers that include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Defense Department and the Department of Energy.
