Looking to Break into the Nuclear Power Field

Hello, crew!  I just joined this site, and I am super glad I found it!

It has been my dream ever since I was -- no joke -- in the 7th grade.  Ever since I read a certain book I have been absolutely FASCINATED by anything nuclear.

I wanted to ask if anyone has any advice in how to break into the field?  I recently graduated with an electrical engineering degree and I am almost desperate to pursue my dream.

  With commercial nuclear slow right now you might want to think of the DOE side, more opportunity there. They're more credential driven and have various intern programs designed for people that have no experience. You might try Sandia National Labs, for instance.
