URS On Team Selected for Dominion Virginia Power Nuclear Project

Dominion Virginia Power (Dominion) announced on May 7, 2010 that it had selected the U.S. Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor (US-APWR) design developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) as a result of a competitive process. URS currently is providing licensing support, engineering, and construction planning to MHI and MNES for the U.S.-APWR. MNES is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MHI based in Arlington, VA

URS Corporation has announced that the Company is part of the team led by Mitsubishi Nuclear Energy Systems Inc. (MNES) whose technology recently was selected for the design of a potential third nuclear power generation unit at Dominion Virginia Power’s North Anna Power Station in central Virginia.
